Corfu plays The Blues
Sweet days of summer, the jasmine's in bloom, July is dressed up and playing her tune. We can say that about Corfu, now can we? For the second consecutive year we will have the Corfu Blues Festival in Arillas!
It was a big succes in 2016, and that is why you can visit some great blues bands again this year. How about one of the best blues bands of Corfu, the Black Strat Band? Or Blues Latitude, another great band from Corfu, formed by Greek and British musicians.
From mainland Greece, you can see Blues Wire, the very first Greek blues band ever! Another blues sensation from Greece is Deep Into The Top, four guys from Thessaloniki playing the blues to the bone.
But that's not all! From abroad will play for you Never The Bride, describes as 'a whirlwind duo of female energy and ecstasy, recognised as the Queens of Blues Rock...'. I want to see and hear this ladies!
Last but not least the main act of the previous year Dr Feelgood! What a gig that was! This dinosaurs of the blues are still alive and kicking. And you can see this great line up during your Corfu Holiday!
